In collaboration with other community services and organizations, FASD Services program supports, develops and delivers initiatives that increase awareness around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), and improve the support available to individuals living with FASD. This is done through initiatives such as activities of the BV FASD Committee, the development of awareness and preventions campaigns on the impact of alcohol consumption during pregnancy, and the delivery of education/training sessions on the reality of living with FASD and strategies to better support families and individuals affected by this brain based disability.
